Mango Banana Smoothie

Jack + I have been loving this smoothie for breakfast. I drank this a lot when I was pregnant, so it warms my heart to sit on the floor and sip this smoothie with him in the mornings.

1 cup of mango provides 25% of daily recommended adult intake for vitamin A! Vitamin A is good for our immune system, skin, eyes, hair, bones, and reproductive system.

1 cup of mango provides 75% of daily recommended adult intake for vitamin C! Mango is one of the highest food sources of vitamin C. We all know this vitamin helps our immune system, but it also helps with iron absorption – Iron absorption is extra important for babies!

Mangoes, like other fruits and vegetables, also contain a unique set of phytochemicals and are high in antioxidants. These plant compounds are what research has revealed to be medicinal to the body.
