Breakfast is a a struggle bus some weeks. Preparing ahead has helped make sure I am also eating a nutritious breakfast!v
Overnight oats are SO easy and cheap… This is a more nutritious twist on an old favorite packaged oatmeal, Peaches & Cream. Less sweet and more nutritious. 😉
Baby’s Version
- Baby Oatmeal: Happy Baby Oats & Quinoa, mixed with formula or water
- Plain Whole Milk Yogurt: Baby’s do not need the high protein content of Greek yogurt, nor the added sugar of a flavored option
- Pureed Peaches: Frozen peaches, steamed and pureed with water
- A small pinch of flaxseed meal
- A small pinch of cinnamon
- No salt, honey or sweetener added!
Peaches ‘n Cream Overnight Oats
Throw it all in the jar, throw in the fridge, and breakfast is ready for the week!
Ingredients
- 1/2 C Quick Oats
- 1/2 C Yogurt Pain whole milk yogurt or Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla or Peach yogurt (Less added sugar is best!)
- 1/2 C Milk or Water
- 1 Tbsp Flaxseed Meal
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- Pinch Salt
- 4 Slices of Peaches (Frozen and Thawed)
Instructions
- Grab a mason jar, add in all the ingredients, stir, put the lid on, and place into the fridge. Refrigerate at least 8 hours before consuming.
- I recommend reheating in the microwave, but overnight oats are meant to be enjoyed cold! If you desire more sweetness, add a touch of raw honey or more fruit.
